Effective June 29, 2023, the following requirements must be satisfied to qualify for a Choice Scholarship award:
If your family’s income falls within the limits for your household size, please submit an application through FACTS Grant & Aid here or call our office and we will help you submit the application.
If your family’s income is above the limits for your household size, your student(s) may still qualify for some assistance from the Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) for the 2024-2025 school year. Please apply for an SGO through FACTS Grant & Aid.
IMPORTANT
Due to the high volume of applications anticipated, it is imperative that all families wanting to apply for tuition assistance of any kind complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application by JUNE 10.
If you have any questions regarding School Choice or SGOs, please contact us in the school office at 260-483-8214 and speak with Christy Etter, Administrative Assistant.
Financial Aid for Queen of Angles may come in three different ways and will be based on need, as well as income guidelines set by the individual scholarship organizations (thus the importance of completing FACTS Grant and Aid):
All school families (re-enrolling or new) will be required to register online with FACTS Grant & Aid, before being considered for an SGO Scholarship or Parish Aid.
*By registering through FACTS, you can provide us with financial information that will be valuable to assess your situation and to see if you are eligible for financial assistance.
*Please note: We have staff who can walk you through this process here at school if needed, and please know that your application in FACTS Grant & Aid will be held in strict confidence.
*All Financial Aid given to families is held in the strictest confidence, and we request that you do the same.
The School Choice Scholarship and Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) programs help to make a Catholic education possible for many school families who would otherwise not be able to afford it. Below you will find information on the eligibility guidelines for the 2023-2024 school year. Please take the time to read the information carefully. Some families may have students who qualify for these programs.

Did you know that your 529 Plan can be used to pay for K-8 private school tuition?
Parents/guardians may use the money in these accounts to pay for private school tuition only. No, you can't pay your registration fee or insurance fee with these accounts. Other expenses such as field trips, summer camps, etc., are also not allowable. Indiana law only allows distributions from a 529 Plan of up to $10,000 per year (for elementary education). In combination with the School Choice Scholarship, the SGO, and other aid, using a 529 Plan to fund your child's private school education is a smart way to invest in your child's future.
How does it work? You simply cash out a portion of your 529 Plan investments, transfer the funds to a regular checking account, and use the funds to pay for your child's private elementary school tuition. Be sure to keep track of how you use the distributions for tax purposes (in case you get audited).
