As you may have heard in recent state news, the Indiana legislature approved a new budget that included changes to the Indiana School Choice program. These changes significantly increased household income limits which determine eligibility for Indiana School Choice scholarships (sometimes referred to as vouchers). This increase will allow many more Indiana families to benefit from the School Choice program. Click here for the new income limits by household size for the 2022-2023 school year. Income in most cases will be the adjusted gross income (AGI) from the 2021 federal tax return for ALL members of your household who filed a return.
In order for a student to be eligible for a School Choice scholarship, not only must the household income be below the limit for the household size, but the student must also have a “track” or “pathway” into the program. Here is a summary of the pathways available to a Queen of Angels student:
If your family’s income falls within the limits for your household size AND your student has one of the pathways listed above, please submit an application through FACTS Grant & Aid here or call our office and we will help you submit the application.
If your family’s income falls within the limits for your household size BUT your student does NOT have a pathway, your student(s) may qualify for some assistance from the Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO) for the 2022-2023 school year, which will provide a pathway into School Choice for future school years. Please apply for an SGO through FACTS Grant & Aid here.
IMPORTANT
Due to the high volume of applications anticipated, it is imperative that all families wanting to apply for tuition assistance of any kind complete the FACTS Grant & Aid application by JUNE 10.

The School Choice Scholarship and Scholarship Granting Organizations (SGOs) programs help to make a Catholic education possible for many school families who would otherwise not be able to afford it. Below you will find information on the eligibility guidelines for the 2021-2022 school year. Please take the time to read the information carefully. Some families may have students who qualify for these programs.
